Italy will struggle to get a new government, after its 4 March general election, as no party or coalition managed to win a majority. The party that obtained the most votes, the populist 5 Stars Movement, got 32.6 percent; the centre-right coalition, led by Silvio Berlusconi got 37 percent and the centre-left coalition 22.85 percent.
