The world famous British physicist Stephen Hawking died at the age of 76 on March 14 in Cambridge. He was director of research at the University of Cambridge, where he investigated the limits of the universe. He also became an emblem of human determination, as he suffered from a fatal neuromuscular disease from the age of 21.
