Dominique Moïsi (b. 1946) specialises in geopolitics and international politics. He is a senior adviser to the French Institute of International Affairs (IFRI), aprofessor at Harvard University and holds the chair of European geopolitics at theCollege of Europe. He regularly contributes to the French and international press, particularly the Financial Times, New York Times and Die Welt. His latest book is entitledThe Geopolitics of Emotion: How Cultures of Fear, Humiliation, and Hope Are Reshaping the World (Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group, 2010).
