UK Prime Minister David Cameron is facing growing pressure from the Eurosceptic wing of the Conservative Party to hold a referendum on UK membership of EU. Some even suggested an alliance with the anti-European Ukip party, led by MEP Nigel Farage. The European question strikes at the heart of Cameron's party and is proving damaging to him politically, to the delight to fellow Tory politician and likely future rival, the media-savvy Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
