Never give up!

Turkey opened the Marmaray on October 29, a 14km tunnel, partly passing under the Bosphorus, which connects the Asian and European sides of Istanbul.

This first rail link between the two continents "is not the project of the century but it embodies the dream of many centuries", said Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who took part in some of the inaugural tunnel tests in August.
