According to two defence community sources, the NSA has an outpost in Vienna, reports Die Presse. However, the daily explains that the nature and scope of collaboration between Austrian intelligence services and the American National Security Agency is not yet known, because the Austrian Defence Minister has refused to comment on this issue.
