‘Politicians given a manual on the distribution of cushy jobs’

The Supreme Court has decided to immediately release Petr Tluchoř, Ivan Fuksa and Marek Šnajdr, three former conservative ODS party MPs, who had been held in custody following an anti-corruption raid on June 13.

According to the state prosecutor the three men obtained jobs in public companies in exchange for their resignation from parliament, following their threat to vote against the Petr Nečas government. However, the Supreme Court decided that they could not be prosecuted for activities that took place in parliament.
