In a ruling delivered on October 9, the highest court in Turkey has confirmed the prison sentences meted out to 237 of some 300 military personnel — including several senior offices — who were found guilty of planning a coup d’état against Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s conservative Islamic government in 2003, reports Radikal.
