The Dutch intelligence service AIVD has given the Turkish government more than a hundred names of possible Dutch jihadists who could be in Turkey at the moment, reports De Volkskrant. Turkish authorities have said they will try the find these people and arrest them, but according to a Dutch terrorism expert they are not searching actively: “The Turks could do much more against the jihad fighters [...] and also close off the area around the Syrian border.” Jihadists are not only using Turkey as transit country for new recruits, but also as a conduit for weapons and supplies.
