Launched in March 2009, Wired Italia is the Italian edition of the [American monthly](http://www.wired.com/) dedicated to new technologies and how they affect society. Owned like its elder brother by the Condé Nast group, Wired Italia on average reproduces 20 per cent US edition, with the remaining content coming from Italian staff. With a notably left-wing stance, Wired Italia actively campaigned for making the internet the 2010 Nobel Peace prize laureate, but without success.
