Established in March 1998, following the merger of Nouveau Quotidien, Journal de Genève, and Gazette de Lausanne, Le Temps is the paper of report for French-speaking Switzerland and is prized by the business community. Dedicating a large part of its content to international news, as well as economic and cultural affairs, and it also publishes content by outside collaborators, notably Le Soirin Belgium, Le Monde and La Tribune in France, and The New York Times in the United States.
The website offers post latest news bulletins and also web exclusive content. Some articles from the print edition are accessible the evening before. Several articles, however, are subscriber only.
