„40 mld rozbite na drodze”

Koszty wypadków i kolizji na drogach przekroczyły w 2013 r. 40 mld złotych, to jest około 3 proc. PKB, bije na alarm Rzeczpospolita, przywołując dane z najnowszego raportu Rady Bezpieczeństwa Ruchu Drogowego (KRBRD). Niestety, prognozy są dość ponure. W tym roku koszta związane z wypadkami mają przekroczyć barierę 50 mld zł. Niepojące jest też to, że straty dla budżetu rosną, choć liczba samych wypadków maleje. Cytowany przez dziennik ekspert tłumaczy to następująco –

Wypadków jest mniej, ale są coraz cięższe, co pociąga za sobą wzrost kosztów leczenia. W dodatku wśród ofiar zwiększył się odsetek osób pracujących, stąd wyższe straty w gospodarce.
